Desperate Housewives is a drama/comedy soap opera type televison series in the United States. The show was created by Marc Cherry. Since its premiere on October 3, 2004 there have been 69 episodes and 5 specials shown on ABC.
Desperate Housewives is placed in a fictional state of Eagle State in the suburban twon of Fairview on Wisteria Lane. You watch the lives of four women through the eyes of their deceased neighbor as they carry on their daily lives.
