Dancing with the Stars Biography
Dancing with the Stars is a reality show airing on ABC in the United States. It is broadcast live from CBS Television City in Los Angeles, California in Studio 46. The show began on June 1, 2005 with host Tom Bergeron and Lisa Canning as hosts. Samantha Harris took over as co-host for Lisa Canning in 2005 and is the co-host for this year as well.
Judges on Dancing with the stars are Len Goodman (ballroom and Latin dance instructor in Dartford, Kent, UK), Carrie Ann Inaba (an American dancer, choreographer, actress, and singer), and Bruno Tonioli (a dancer and professional choreographer).
The way, in which the reality television works is that, a celebrity is paired with a professional dancer to perform various dances with the hopes of achieving a high score from the judges along with a high number of votes from viewers. The viewers can either call in or vote online for their favorite couple. The person that receives the lowest score will be eliminated. They will perform one last dance at the end of the show.
