Default Simon's Insults

It frustrates me to hear Simon insult the contestants. He should give his advice about the performnace and leave it at that. And or give some positive input on how the contestant can improve their performance. Their attire and any other features should not be included in his opinion.

WRONG ! Kimberly it is NOT Simon's show. You've misperceived some how. Get your facts straight girl. Simon signs a contract the same as Randy and Paula. Simon does what Simon wants to because "immoral" "spineless" viewers get a cheap thrill from a COMPLETE FOREIGN IDIOT who demeans SINCERE AMERICAN CONTESTANTS on national TV !

This is a FACT !

Have A Great Weekend

That's what makes it interesting. If it wasn't for him, the show would be boring.

you can say what you want about Simon, but i don't think anyone can disagree with this..when he actually gives a compliment to a contestant, it means A LOT more to them than either of the other judges' compliments..and that is due to his unedited critiques. he just says EXACTLY what he thinks without trying to gloss it over. i agree that sometimes he steps over the line, but for the most part he is bang-on..

That extra little something is called, "Degradation".

I'd much rather have a Martina McBride "type" personality judging the show.

I think Simon is great. First we have to thank him for AMERICAN IDOL and all the talent its brought us. I agree with at least 95% of his comments. When someone's off key, pitchy or ahead of the beat, I can hear it and wonder why the audience can't. It floors me when Paula gives a half-ass critique using lots of words but saying very little just to pacify the contestant; Randy is usually pretty close and Simon is right on with his evelations. He might sound harsh to some, but hey...he's not their mama! Get real. This is show business. If they can't take it, they need to get another trade because they won't make it in the industry. Simon has a great smile, personality and I even love his tee shirts and sweaters. Give him a break. I really don't understand all the bad press. I think Simon's great!
