Default 10-25- show

Chris Rene has a very good voice. Surprising song choice and everybody was hating on it but I thought it showed nice versatility for Mr Rene. I liked the Brewer boys but they had the horrible arrangement and song choices. You can't sing Rich Girl if you can't say 'itch girl. It doesn't work.

Simone tried to sell sex in her performance and I think she did a decent job of it. Oh my god that blonde dancing next to her. Simone's vocals are merely adequate.

Leroy is good but he is a lesser version of Michael Bolton.

Rachel is really a great little girl singer. She is not a great grown up singer.

Dexter is the X Factor version of Paul McDonald. He is somewhat entertaining but can't sing well at all. I actually did enjoy his performance a bit.

Marcus Canty with a decent but not special version of Boy George.

Astro decent performance but I bet there are a 1000 Jr. High students round America that are just as good.

Intensity was kind of fun. The girl with the lightning bolt is the talent of the group as far as I can tell.

Stereo Hogz just bored me.

Melanie was great she is as good or better than Drew but not as marketable.

I love Come on Eileen and Lakoda Rayne did a nice job with it. I thought they were trying to market them as country so the song choice kind of baffles me.

Tiah is not a great singer but that sure was interesting.

Phillip Lomax did as well with I'm a believer as he possibly could. Good voice good presence. If I understand it he is gone though.

Stacy WOW. Taking on a George Michael song and doing it just awesome. She reminded me of Kelly Clarkson on the high notes. I have a new favorite but once again I don't think she is marketable.

Joe Cocker is VERY good. I like Drew a lot but she is doing the same thing with every song. I hate how she sucked all the life out of that amazing Irene Cara song. Irene IMO is way underrated as an artist. She had one of the most amazing voices EVER. I think she got messed up on Drugs.

I wasn't surprised with any of the eliminations, although I wouldn't have minded 'Intensity' getting the axe. Too many people in that group, and a little too 'Glee-ish', for my taste.

I'm glad to see Dexter is gone. He was horrible. The James Brown/Mick Jagger shtick just wasn't working. Plus he couldn't sing. I think they just kept him around because they felt sorry for him.

They could get rid of the whole over 30 group, and it wouldn't break my heart. Especially Stacy. That crying stuff really gets old. She's so dramatic, and her voice is annoying. Leroy is probably the best of that bunch, but really, who is going to buy anything he puts out?

The Astro kid needs to go. I don't see anything he's doing as groundbreaking. Wow, a teenage black kid, who can rap. Whoopee!

Rachel is a nice girl, but I think she would be better off, getting into acting.

It's really hard for me to get excited about any of these people, although I think Melanie has the best voice.
