It's hard to believe she's only 14. Although she has a great voice. I find her style very dreadful, and boring.

I liked her style at first until I found out she was going to do the same thing with every song.

Ok, I'm now starting to find myself agreeing with you about Nicole. She is too forced and too sickly sweet. I find the show a bit of a drag. Its way too long and I have to fast forward all the way through it. Some of the songs they give the contestants suck as well. Did you hear it is drawing in only 1/2 the viewers as Idol? The show was picked up for a second season but they had better do some tweeking or it may be their last season...Know what I mean Vern?

Talent-wise, I think the show is better. However, it's soooo freakin' long. American Idol is just as long, but X-Factor seems longer, because alot of it, is so boring. The shows leading up to the 'live show', were really boring, especially when they went to the judges houses. I literally fell asleep during that one. I also don't like the British guy, who is the announcer. He seems like a real douche. I'd rather have Seacrest.

I think another reason the ratings aren't as high as American Idol, is because it's during the fall, which is football season, and also the same time as the World Series. X-Factor is kind of an afterthought, at least for me, it is.

Very good analysis Teddy. Steve Jones is beyond horrible. He is so easy to hate.

Well Drew got eliminated. Josh Krajcik is the favorite now with Melanie Amaro going to give him strong competition.

Josh is my favorite and has been from the start, along with Drew but she got the hook. Melanie drives me nuts. Her voice is great but I don't like her Whitney Houston style and she drives me nuts with her sucky speaches. I know she's been through a lot but she's trying too hard for the sympathy votes which she doesn't need to do. I am starting to like Chris more. The guy that almost got eliminated twice is doing really well now. The little girl was pretty good tonight. I think Simon is manipulating the votes away from Josh so I'm not sure how much time he'll have left.

Josh and Melanie are my favorites. Soooo glad Astro is gone. I had a feeling Drew's days were numbered. She kept singing in the same boring, dreadful style. That version of 'Billie Jean' was just awful.
