I listen to alot of Bluegrass as well. I like the old stuff like Flatt & Scruggs, Ralph Stanley, and Jimmy Martin. I really love Bluegrass Gospel.

I agree 100%. Do you ever listen to 3rd time out? They do gospel very well. I have a pic with ralph Stanley that I love.
I have a cousin "Greg" who plays in a bluegress band in georgia, he is very good. I have been to a lot of bluegrass fest. I enjoyed everyone of them.

Chances are, if you turn on any radio station, I will know the song and start singing. I listen to everything.... and I know a lot of people say that, but I honestly do. My voice gets compared to Martina McBride very often.

I used to say I listened to everything until I went to Saudi Arabia and I heard what some of the East Indians I worked with listened to. Then I realized that I don't listen to everything.

Well, then I'll say it this way: I listen to everything that is mainstream, plus other stuff that's not so mainstream.

You ever go to the International music section and check out those CDs from a label that puts a bunch of music from other countries together? There is one called "Arabic Groove." It's pretty cool for dance music. Not a big dance music fan myself, but I never thought I would listen to Arabic music but its listenable, in certain cases. I mainly listen to mainstream rock, classical, movie soundtracks stuff, but can listen to a lot of things EXCEPT RAP! But you probably already knew that.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't sing. But that music those East Indians and Pakistanis were playing reminded me of gnats flying around in my ear.

You talking about that weird @#$ instrument they use, I forget what its called, but it sounds kinda like a stringed instrument bag pipe, real desonate and annoying. That's weird how they use that instrument, in the Arabic Groove CD they use it some but blend it in with Western style music, its pretty cool.
