I've never heard of them. I'll have to check them out. That's cool you have a picture with Ralph Stanley. I recently bought a couple DVD's called "Gaither Bluegrass Gospel Homecoming" Volumes 1 and 2. It's awesome. Along with Ralph Stanley, it has alot of other great artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Rhonda Vincent, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. There are alot of other groups on there that I've never heard of before, but they are really good. I've been to a few Bluegrass festivals, but it's been a couple of years. But, yeah, they are alot of fun.

Rush, there is a bluegrass place near my house called the Outpost--it's free on most Friday and Saturday nights. You used to bring your own lawn chairs and lots of locals showed up to play as well as name people passing through. Now they have a new fangled spot with chairs and even a concession stand--it's still free unless they book a big name blue grass band and then it is only $10 max. Oh, and there is a older people section with chairs that people have donated (comfortable chairs). They also host gospel singings. It's like stepping into Mayberry. Atlanta keeps spreading out toward us, but so far it has maintained it's simplicity--just like the music.
