Christianity and Judaism

I am not going into huge depths on this in this first post. My quick thought is that Christians are adopted Jews. Christianity is Judaism fulfilled. We are not the enemies of Judaism. We like Christ should feel saddenned that they keep waiting for a Messiah that allready came and was rejected by them. Christianity is Judaism.

Christ is probably more disappointed how Jews have mistreated by the Christians for centuries.

I am sure there are some misguided Christians who have mistreated the Jews. The Jews on the other hand were murdering the Christians. Those are both very sad occurrences that people against Christianity use as excuses for putting down Christianity. Remember KTL that most of those mistreating the Jews who claim to be Christians are not Christians. I could claim to be a horse but it woudn't make me one. How about the Christians that were risking their own lives to save Jews during World War II. You just seem to be in this place that you are looking for negatives within Christianity. Why not look for the good? There is so much good within Christianity and the Church.

I am actually talking about the 19th century.. not 2000 years ago-

I am not looking for negative things.. it just that when ever I open a history book.. all those negative things just pour out.

I actually strike against the churches.. yes people did help the Jews in ww2.... what did the churches say or do??

now things are better between christians and Jews... why pretend that is the way it has always been?

the longer we act as if the christians are actually acting like they should in so many incidences, the longer we are just deceiving ourselves, but we are not deceiving Christ..

He knows if you really believe or just say you believe just to to heaven.

and believe me there is a big difference.

Look at the part that I have bolded. Yes there are some people who claim to be Christians that have done bad things.The true Christians are not doing the bad things you are talking about. Look for them. The true Christians are out there doing wonderful things every day.

The way you talk here it makes me think you get no Christian fellowship at all and you almost talk as if you hate and JUDGE all Christians. Nobody is perfect but there are people out there trying to be the best they can be. The Bible says they will know we are Christians by our love for one another. That means we should show love to everybody of course but particularly to our fellow Christians.

KTL according to the Bible whatever hell is people will be going there. That is the problem with free will. The Bible says "I set before you life and death. Choose Life." This is from Deuteronomy. Do you want to take away peoples ability to choose. Would you rather that God just let everybody live however they want and disregard him but still give everybody everything they want. A lot of people would like that but that is not the way God works. I can't tell God how he should be. He is not under my control I am under his.

I know and understand why many people have a hard time with the idea of Hell. I honestly am not sure exactly what it means but I do know that it is real because God has proven himself and his Bible to me. It is not Gods wish that any should perish but that all should come to him. It is up to them. He made the way and now all we have to do is take advantage of it. Satans greatest sin was wanting to be the equal of God.

the promise that is spoken of is the return of Christ.. they actually expected Him to come back right away..


2 Peter 3:9 (New International Version)
9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

I love the scriptures that you are posting but I still don't get why you think all these Churches are avoiding verses and teaching differently than Christ did. Sure there are Churches that do that so pray for them and it is OK if you want to challenge them. What you should do if you haven't allready is find a church that believes the whole Bible and teaches what Christ taught and loves the way that Christ did to the best of their ability. Just remember that when you start attending that Church will no longer be perfect

how does keeping the world allow everyone to repent?

how can all the people come to repentance after they have died?

now, I understand this verse, but not many do.
