I wasn't upset to see Lil go, as week after week, she picked the wrong song, you can only get away with that for so long. Matt on the other hand, has been very good previously, but last night, omg, that was not good. They must have a pretty restrictive song list to choose from, thats all I can say, disco week with no Chic, Sister Sledge, Oddysey, Gap Band, Kool & The Gang... what goes on???

It didn't really seem like Disco week to me. There were only a couple that actually sounded like Disco.

The problem is, if they sounded too much like Disco, then Simon would've than Simon would've whined that they sounded too old fashioned, or karaoke.

He always encourages them to sound totally different, than what the theme actually is.

I'd have thought that at least 3 of the remaining acts could have made a disco song sound current, with a new arrangement, without turning it into a ballad. The whole point of disco is its upbeat...
