Well, Jordin didn't have a good week, but I do believe she has the drive and talent to come back strong. Kiki had two bad weeks in a row and came back STRONG this week. I think Blake will be out shortly but, like Duaghtry, get signed to a contract and laugh all the way to the bank. I don't think Lakisha will have to go back to work at a bank either. I think the top 4 (plus Phil) will likely get signed and do well. Blake might put out an album but then make a lot of $$ as a producer.

Nice assessment. I too see a Melinda/Jordin finale. Melinda is by far the best singer, but Jordin can belt it out too has a cute and addictive personality.

Blake still has a shot at the finals but Lakisha likely will go next week unless she has another knockout performance.

I am very excited about disco week! I think all of the contestants will do extremely well, but Lakisha will go home, followed by Blake the following week. After that, it is too hard to predict. I would hope for Jordin to win, but I love Melinda too. I am just so happy that Phil and Chris went this week.

Disco Week; Blake will disco great with his beatbox and might beatbox his way to the final two. Jordin's my favorite though. Hopefully she'll do a slow powerpacked song and blast them out of the water !

The final will defintely be Jordin and Melinda which is a tough call because they are both awsome in their own right. I think Melinda has the more refined vocals but popularity will prevail. So far, it looks like Melinda appeals to the older crowd (note, I didn't say "old", I said older) who are less likely to attack the phone lines nonstop.

Popularity contest = Jordin wins (having a TV station like Fox 10 endorsing you constently helps)
Personality contest = Jordin wins
Talent contest = Melinda wins
Demographics = ??
Beauty contest = Jodin wins
AI Track record = Melinda wins
Judge support = Melinda wins

Jordan's face may not be offensive, however, she is large and far from in charge. Melinda ain't exactly hot, either, but the other night the two of them were standing next to each other at the end of the show and Jordin is just a behemoth. Not to mention, the maternity tops she wore this week did nothing to camouflage her weight problem.

I know, I know, she can sing, albeit inconsistently. In the final analysis, she is a spoiled, overweight, pretty after a six-pack, rich kid. I bet she's never had a major disappointment in her life (not that there's anything wrong with that). But life is not a bowl of cherries; she needs to pay her dues. Melinda has paid her dues and clearly deserves to win. Jordan has a bright future, regardless - probably as a plus-sized model.
