The song is called "We All Want To Be Loved". It's a DC Talk song.

why doesn't he sing songs people know. He always picks these far out of the universe songs

A. Mute Math, Ray LaMontagne, and DC Talk = Popular
B. He's picked good songs regardless.

I thinking about that very thing in the shower this morning.

I think his strategy is to NOT perform songs that are so well known that he might face unfavorable comparisons.

I was familiar with that song, but I listen to Christian radio and it didn't even occur to me that this was a Christian song, kind of like when Mandisa did the Mary Mary song last year, I just bopped along and it didn't occur to me that the rest of the world wouldn't know what it was.

I hope he does do some more popular songs though, at least his selections sound current.

I had never heard of mute math until chris sang Typical, I downloaded their entire Cd and it is awsome!!! Take a listen to them!!!

listening to mute math makes me realize that the band the ai uses although very talented in knowing a huge majority of songs do not sound good on rock songs. Another example was pearl jam last night and 311 as well.

Yeah, I just listened to the real version of that 311 song, nothing like they played it last night. The rhythm section missed it.

he has a soft heart...he is too lovey dovey....instead of making the world feel good he needs to just sing better songs
