Red face Patrick Hall

Okay here's the deal.. Patrick Hall is soo talented.. He blew me away! I'm upset that they haven't showed him more.. He was the guy who sang "Bread" last night.. He sang after Kellie.. What do you all think of him?

I liked him too. I hope he will go far. He reminded me somewhat of Anthony from season 4, who I adore.

And I thought I was the only one out there who was a Patrick fan! Patrick rocks and he really did cruise through to the final 24 contestants. I was also a little dissapointed that Fox didn't show much footage in him in last weeks episodes. I didn't see much of Bobby Bennett either, which is a shame because I think the guy has a real personality and will go a long way!

No, you are not.
I wish they had show more of the good auditions, as there are many I did not remember at all.
I feel sure I would have remembered Patrick's had they shown it. I still remember Anthony's from last year.
I adored him and voted for him like a person possessed from the time he made the top 24 until he was cut. I am still in touch with a friend of his.
I am not sure which one Bobby Bennett is. I am dreadful with names and only now that they are in the top 24 will I actually be able to keep some of them straight.
It will be an interesting ride. According to the early favorites of a newsgroup I am on, it seems a lot of people are undecided about Patrick, which may well make him a bit of an underdog.
Of course, Anthony was a nearly perpetual underdog, but he made it to the Top 4, so maybe Patrick will have similiar success.
I have not been able to find any information about him though. Any ideas? If I am going to think of potentially backing someone, I like to know all I can about them, as I do not like surprises where that is concerned.
Any other faves?

Patrick, and Robert are my favorites. I think that the producers at FOX edit the programmes to get what they want...lots of talk and high ratings. That's why we haven't seen much of Patrick yet. I think they know he is going to blow away the competition and that his time on the screen will come at a later stage in the show. Common Patrick - you can do it!)

I hope that he will be able to shine and that Simon won't be as mean to him as he was to Anthony last year. I got so mad at Simon at times. The one week that all three judges were mean to Anthony, I wrote Fox and complained. They were a bit nicer the next week.
Who was your fave from last season? I would tell you mine, but I think it is probably obvious by now.

I am so disappointed that he was voted off last night. I was looking forward to hearing more from him. I liked his voice and manner. I am ok with the others that were voted off being gone, but I am not ok with Patrick being gone so soon.

He should have sang a better song. It all comes down to song choice.

I agree that the song choice was not the best, but I also think there were several who were weaker than he was who chose as bad or worse songs for their voices.
I guess that is just the way the cookie crumbles though. It figures the one I like most would get cut though. Happens with restaurants, TV shows and most everything else it seems.
