Default Finally Idol was fabulous!!!

What a show tonight! The girls were awesome and so were the guys. Everyone of them rocked! The gal who sang the Led Zeppelin song was brave and she nailed it! Glad the talent has finally come out of them all oh wait a sec my 7 year old spotted me typing this and wants to add another happy face icon so I will let him choose it:

Deandre and Heejun, standing ovations from the judges?? They weren't that good tonight. I couldn't understand anything Deandre sang tonight.

I'm getting a suspicion, with the arrival of the X factor and The Voice, These three judges and shows producers, are intentionally glorifying these not so good contestants
to make them appear better than they truly are, to stay level or better ratings wise than The X Factor and The Voice.

Not much negative feedback like it was before J-Low and Tyler came along. Simon would have persecuted half the singers tonight.

Now that you mention DeAndre.......... When he sings he starts off well but then he starts singing high pitch, and then goes higher and higher. At that point I want to start laughing at his goofiness but then he finds his way back to sounding decent but then goes off again. its bizarre. He could be good but he needs work. Other than him it was a good show. I do like Heejun.

Are you serious? I'll give you that The Voice is pretty good but X Factor is garbage... they lost half their judges. And it lasted way too long and got pretty boring.

All of that aside... Heejun was certainly THAT GOOD tonight. I actually wasn't that impressed with the closing song... talk about not being able to understand a word one was singing... what was she even saying? I haven't been impressed with her anyways.. I'd actually be happy to see her end up in the bottom three. My prediction of bottom three.. DeAndre, Elise, and either Skylar or Hollie.

I simply referred to their existence.

So you believe Heejun will win it all. Cool.

I don't think any of them were truly 'bad' like Heejun and Hollie were last week. Didn't like the songs by Heejun or Deandre. Couldn't understand a word Deandre sang. Sounded like he iron lunged some helium and sang underwater. That, and I don't like the falsetto voice kind of turns me off to his style.

I agree a bit with Jimmy about Skylar. It's like every performance is the same. Every song sounds the same. Every time she moves around the stage is the same. All her songs seem to have the same meter. I do think she can have a decent country music career. She has the chops and the stage presence. But outside her genre (where AI seems to want to force all the contestants) might not work well for her.

I do think the performers got some much better advice from Stevie than they did from Will-I-Am. They were horrid that week. Most gave solid performances.

Stevie was excellent! She was one of the better mentors Idol has had, I think.

X Factor Blows! Simon should have done his homework before the show went on the air. Instead he fired everyone for his mistakes. Also, it's too painfully long.

Actually, the talent was much better.

He fired the people, because they weren't very good.

The host was horrible, with no personality, or tact. He had to go.

Nicole Scherzinger's inability to make the right decision, caused one contestant to go home, undeseveredly.

And Paula, well, she was just Paula.

But, a girl won, Melanie Amaro, and she was the best contestant. She would blow away any of the Idol contestants.
