Trayvon Martin shooting: much ado about nothing?

The story about that black kid who was shot/killed by the Hispanic guy in FL has a following all around the country. The media called the shooter "white" until it was proven he was a Hispanic. Blacks and Hispanics kill each other every day all over the country. Why is this case such a big deal and why is Hussein involved?

Why not shoot him in the arm or leg?

Don't take someones life unless you're 100% sure the other party has a deadly weapon. I'd rather get a few bruises than take someone's life.

Eye witnesses say that Trayvor provoked Zimmerman and actually was on top of him when they were on the ground.

I don't know what happened. From what I hear, he was a pretty rotten kid. However, I'm having a pretty hard time believing that he could overpower a grown man. He didn't look like he weighed more than a 150 lbs. tops. I'm also hearing stories that Zimmerman was actually the aggressor.

Whatever the case, if Zimmerman gets off, he's going to have to move somewhere where there's no black people, or at least hardly any, because his life will never be the same. The Black Panthers have put a bounty on him. Spike Lee tried to twitter his address. Luckily, it was wrong. Then you have Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson running their mouths. If Zimmerman was black, these people would not care. Nobody says anything when a little kid gets caught in a drive-by shooting from some black gang members.

Agreed. What a mess. I do not believe in shooting innocent kids but this kid was a punk. Zimmerman is screwed. The liberals have made a villain out of him.
