Not sense possibly the dark days of the 1960s or possibly even the rabid anti-semitism of Nazi Germany have I seen such a blatant display of
Anti-Pick-ites (pro: I-ts for the ACE fans) on this forum. This fanaticism associated with the hate Kellie Pickles crowd almost makes me ashamed to be an American. She is the ever flower of woman-hood. Blond, blue-eyed, great bod, all-american girl, with even a little bit of talent. She no doubt is also great at shopping for her references to the importance of shoes, and no doubt high-heals which is possibly the most important piece of clothing on a woman. I beg the people who agree with me to unite against this rising tide of sheer unadultarated HATE and stop these Anti-Pick-Ites NOW!!

I want to agree with you in principal. I am a petite blonde who sings, and I would go without oxygen before giving up my shoes. Heck, I would run in heals if I didn't think my back and legs would give out. However.............

The problem with Kellie is not that she cannot sing, because she can, although not with the same level of professionalism that all of the other singers seem to have. It isn't just the obnoxious twangy voice, the rediculous simplton routine that we are forced to endure on most shows, the frustrating song choices (soap FRICKIN' suds in a bucket!), or the lecherous exchange between SImon and Kellie after each performance (Simon, she doesn't want to sleep with you, get over it) It isn't any one of these things by themselves, but all of them mashed together and foistered upon us each Tuesday and Wednesday night. And the final insult! She should have been cut LONG before now, if we had been going strictly on talent.

Yeah, she's got a bangin' body, and she has a cute face, although her eyes are a bit too close together, making her appear cross-eyed at times. But hey, is she the best singer? No. So should we vote for her because she's cute and naive (aka a bit soft in the ol' noggin') or are we allowed to be upset that people are doing just that, at the expense of far more talented performers. Should we simply laugh at the way Simon, whom I generally respect, has blatantly made his preference known and tried to sway us into voting for someone less talented, just because he wants to see her waggle her ass and go down on her knees in front of him? Should we just accept that she very well could continue moving up the AI chain because little girls think she's "pretty" and want to be her, and little boys/ men think she's "hot" and want to do her? Should she win because "Vote for the Worst" is backing her?

HELL NO!!!

I don't hate Kellie, although she goes from irritating the sin out of me to making me feel true pity and back again. I am definitly entertained. However, it is time for her to go.

Yeah but we have to work within the framework of what the judges end up with. I too would prefer someone equally as hot that has more talent (a.k.a Carrie U-Wood), but we are stuck with her. So I'm going down with the ship!! Don't get me wrong, I am not actually voting for her, but I am in love. I know what your saying, yeah if I was in Nazi Germany in the 30s I would have stood up and done something then, but hey the time is now. We must stop these Anti-Pick-Ites.

I'm glad you guys are with me, or maybe I am with you, whichever, and I don't think she is the best singer to ever come down the pike by no means, but I also wouldn't say she is the worst.
