Again, I think its partially Idols fault for not getting these past winners out there. we never hear of them at all. Its BS.

Rumor I've heard is kidney stones. But that's just a rumor. I've also head he'll miss about 3 months of the tour. I'd wager when he shows up for the finale' next year people are going to be saying "Where's he been?"

I like Cohen. I've just been a Johnette fan ever since she did "Still in Hollywood". And I can't think of one AI contestant who could recreate her studio version of "Heal it Up". She does have an impressive set of pipes.

And P2 will have to write a LOT of songs to even be mentioned in the same page as Cohen or Waits.

It could be some of the past contestants avoid coming back to the show.

Supposedly he's had 8 surgeries, since he's been on 'Idol'. That's quite a few. No wonder, he didn't always sound so good. He's awfully young to have to put up with that.
