THR, the girls are in love with Philips looks, is the reason he is in the final.
Josh's exit song was "this is a mans world". It doesn't get much better than that! That cat can flat sing that song. We haven't heard the last of Josh.

Whaaaaaaa! Joshua gone!!!! BS! I'm so pissed off! Jessica will win for sure in my opinion. it will be an easy win for her. I like Philip don't get me wrong but he is no Joshua.

Yeah, it's a shame. I don't even have to watch the show, to know Josh was the best.
It won't be an easy win for Jessica. Even though she's better, there's just too many girls voting for Phillip.

The big thing going for Jessica is that she should pick up way more of the votes from the Joshua fans than Phillip will if they bother to vote. I think Phillip will win but I am holding on to hope that talent wins over demographics. |

It's been looking like the fix is in for us to see WGWG5 win this season. The MUCH better half was quite unhappy that Joshua left and P2 remained. But it looks like the 'formula' for winning AI is a white guy with guitar and an 'aw shucks' attitude. At least of late its trumped vocal talent.

You know I don't really think the guitar part is all that relevant. I always say what is needed to be A reasonably good looking white male, with an awe shucks nice guy persona. I also add that he needs to be non threatening. Did you get the awe shucks thing from me? That is just too funny that we both use that word in our description. |

I dunno, the women friends of mine are digging Philip. Their way of thinking is, he is the only one that they would want to buy CD's from. Maybe he will win? This is true for me as I would buy his stuff BUT even more, for me, I will be buying Joshua's CD's. Jessica is a power house when she sings but I wouldn't buy her CD's. That could change however, if her style of music is guided right. If she sticks to Whitney Houston type songs then I wouldn't be remotely interested but if they steer her to the rock, or blues then I might be. Maybe Joshua not winning is a blessing? But then Melinda Dolittle did little later so hard to know. I'm hoping Jessica doesn't win because currently I'm not into her style of music. Philip is good but I'm not sure if he's great. I'm not excited about the results coming up on Idol.
