In an effort to try and save The X Factor, which is lagging behind American Idol in ratings; Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones have all been fired from the show. It's going to be interesting to see who they are replaced with. I was surprised about Paula, but I could have seen the host and other judge being axed.

Simon should have done his homework before the show was aired. You'd think maybe one person could have been a bad choice for his show to hire but to nearly wipe out the entire crew. He's shot himself in the foot. This desperate attempt to improve the show will most likely hurt it more. The show is too long will they recognize that?
