American Idol 7 Winner is.....

According to Dial Idol DC is the winner and it isn't close at all. DC did well last night but Archy did much better IMO and in the opinion of the Judges. The American people wanted a rocker to win this year simple as that. No cute little 17 year old boy was going to get the vote no matter how good he was. Good season and it was fun posting with you all. The Davids will represent AI well. I will watch the show tonight just for the entertainment but the result as far as I can tell is not in question at all.

I want Cook to win, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Archie won. Never underestimate the power of tweens

Having had 1 million 11 year old girls dialing their fingers to bloody stumps, and 1 million 73 year old grandmas dialing their rotary dial phones, there can only be one.

The Sock Monkey kid, with the Svengali stage father, that will one day be the reason that the "Archie" puts a 22 caliber slug into his temple.

It will be priceless tonight to see the look on the faces of Simon and Randy tonight when David Cook is announced as the winner of AI Season 7. Is seems like everyone made up their minds before the show last night.

I voted on who i felt was the best singer. DC dominated the competition this season. He is the complete package and should very well be the next American Idol.

Hey, is someone on the east coast going to post the winner AS SOON as it's found out?? The reason I ask is because I know many websites are against spoilers, but I wont be able to watch tonight and I want to know right away who wins!! If it wont be posted right away, I will gladly PM someone my cell so they can text me the winners name!! I just really want to find out asap!
