this is one night that I am sad. jason was a favorite of mine.
he did some good songs in the past. over the rainbow- what a day for a daydream... and I liked memories.

he did not blow big time. he was talented and made the show more interesting. he will probably come out with a dynamic cd in the future. all the others except for cook will be long forgotten in a couple of years.

He was good in the beginning but showed no growth as the weeks passed. So he was voted out tonight hey!? Can't say that I'm sad.

I missed Jason too. But what he did during the last show, cannot be defended. I think he cannot handle the pressure and the expectation. His earlier performances were good. I love his rendition of Hallelujah and Somewhere Over the rainbow.:D
Favorite quote I heard from him last night:
"Someone told me I shot the tamborine man...." That was funny. He didn't seem to be too upset he was leaving. I think he'll do okay.

He sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World the exact same way Israel Kamakawiwoʻole (Brudda IZ) recorded it.
Why the judges gave him so much praise for copying the song is beyond me.

made the show more interesting? you mean with his lullaby performances, and his horrible attempt at bob marley?
people like david cook, amanda overmeyer, syesha, or blake lewis from last season make the show interesting and fun. jason just makes you wanna fall asleep

you wrong about this one,jacter. it thoughts he had marley down pretty good. i mean he had the dreadlock and acting stoned out on weed pretty much of the time like marley.
