Is Taylor the top vote-getter each week?

Does anyone else believe (despite how YOU might actually feel about him) that Taylor is leaps and bounds ahead of the other contestants, in terms of vote count each week?

Here are a couple of tid-bits for you to chew on...

1) He is one of two people that have never been in the bottom three

2) He appears to have one of the largest and most loyal fan bases

3) His DialIdol rating has been on top (by a wide margin) since top-12 week. (for those who would argue this third point, I'm not necessarily saying that DialIdol is legit, or accurate, but as more and more people use it, it seems to be getting better in terms of accuracy... this last week was dead on).

I think the Soul Patrol is keeping this guy on top, way on top, and their only real concern going forward will be the dynamics of vote-shifting as the next four contestants are eliminated. I think we might actually see a final two of Taylor and Katharine.

I think Taylor actually had the highest vote total, for at least week anyway. So, it doesn't matter how many people don't like him, the Soul Patrol have them definately outnumbered.

I agree with RushDog... Taylor (whether you like him or not) has something that America likes... I enjoy his "dancing". He's just freakin' entertaining, man. :)

I love Taylor and hope he does win. I believe he has a huge fan base, but you are right...its a matter of whos voted off and where their votes will go.

I don't think Taylor will win this thing, but I think he might pick up a sizable share of Ace's (and Elliott) votes; since the fans of those two might not prefer to the rocker Chris---provided they don't switch those votes to a female contestant. I also wonder how many people just stop voting altogether when their fav gets booted.

Taylor is going to make it into the quaterfinals, along with Katherine, Kellie and Chris, but predicting a winner from that point becomes more and more treacherous.

I think you may be right... He'll most definitely be in the final four. I think I'd prefer to see Elliott there over Kellie though. But I don't think it'll happen, especially now that Ace is gone (I think Kellie will actually pick up a lot of Ace votes... well, except for cinnamocha's). I think Elliott deserves it and actually NEEDS it to get a record deal. These other contestants don't need AI anymore to put out records. Not saying they'd be good records (i.e. Kellie). But they could put out records and rake in profits since they already have established fan bases.

I do see Taylor in the #2 postion (at least).
His fan base is huge.
I do wonder where Ace's vote will now go. I kind of think Chris and Elliott will get them.

I think Taylor has always had a majority vote, or at least a large margin over the rest... He is just so genuine and likeable that he does have a huge fan base... I've liked his raw talent since his audition.

It's because Taylor is funky. He can sing R&B. He does rock and country with a certain funkiness about him. He's a black man trapped inside a white man's body. He's the Larry Bird of American Idol.

I totally understand why people are voting in Taylor.
His voice is not usual, and it is exactly what I like about him... He has style and great musical culture.
He is not my favorite, but each week I like him more.
Be a great singer is much more than only have a broad vocal range and be in tune... it is necessary to put soul and energy into the performance... and he did it. There are other contestants with "perfect" but technical and cold voices...
