Anyone else really bumming that Ace got cut last night???

I thought it was awful...Ace has been my favorite through the entire show and I realllllyyyyy hated to see him go. I know he's had some bad performances, but I really do think he's a talented artist who didn't deserve to be cut yet. To be honest, as much as I like Kellie, I think she should have gone, if we're going by their performances anyways, because she completely destroyed "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" on Tuesday night. I don't know I guess...I mean SOMEONE obviously had to go and at this point I like all of the contestants, it just really upset me to see Ace go home.:(

ya know...seeing all of this stuff you write about ace, there has to be some sort of jealousy issue going on here because in my whole life i have never seen anything like this before...i don't know if this is to be funny or if you really are jealous of ace, because if you are, it really is ok!! we all understand!!

Well, apparently Ace is out of the closet and I commend him for coming out on national TV. But, after reading this post I laughed so hard I almost fell out my seat!!!!! He is a beautiful man, but women across America were voting based on looks and look what it got them, a "Broke Back." I really hated to see him go too. Please see My Official Apology to ACE in the general chat thread for a more comprehensive analysis of this subject. And I will admit that I AM jealous of ACE. Because no doubt he will be able to walk into any bar in America for AT LEAST 6 months and be able to walk up to the hottest girl in the bar and get laid instantly. Here's my theory, I consider myself to be a nice looking fella, no Ace or Paul Newman but no Gilbert Godfried either, and I never had a problem in the ladies department. You know why, because the one thing women value over looks is self-confidence. Nothing gets them hot and bothered more than a guy who is self assured. I think its an alpha male thing with them.

Usually, it is only extemely young women (18-23) who are totally hung up on looks, but those are often girls and not women anyway!

Don't get me wrong, I don't think a guy can look like Quasimoto or be as big as a freight train and get away with it with the ladies, but I think if you're somewhat normal looking, self confident AND you have a sense of humor just as many women are going to be interested in you as in the ACE's of the world maybe even more. In fact, sometimes extremely good looking guys suffer a backlash from the ladies, especially if they think the guy knows how good looking he is.

I personally have had my most success by using a large club, knocking them over the head, and dragging them back to my cave, but I've heard this style is a little out dated. They tell me using something called ro-hepnaul and slipping it into a girls drink is the way to do it these days. That's what happens when you go into extended sleep and wake up 300 years later. But I'm trying to catch up. (just kidding) actually playing on stage in a rock band tends to do the trick too. That is if you don't mind superficial, artificial blonds with augmented racks (a.k.a. I am extremely upset that Ace went home last week! Now I will probably only watch Katherine! Hopefully she will win!
