david archuleta can do creative things with a song the other contestants can't. he is truly an artist way beyond his years.

I liked what David Cook did tonight he turned a ballad by Lionel Ritchie into a rock song...Very cool!

Everyone is on target (except the voter who hated Jason Castro). This was a very strong session. I'd say: Jason Castro, David Cook, David A., Chikezie, and M. Johns were all very good. Menard and Noriega should be voted off, but little sissy Danny who dances like a girl will probably get plenty of pre-teen cell-phone votes.

Chopper is manliness for males and femininity for females a key component to this competition? There are lots of entertainers who are very good who are not locked into gender stereotypes. I would say that vocally Danny is probably one of the six best male vocalists.

I think David Cook was the best, then Castro. Was way underimpressed with David A. He was off key a LOT!!! He is still the best though.

No, of course men can show their "softer" side. But there's a big difference between that and flouncing around, gyrating like a sissy girl. The problem is that Noriega's vocals are profoundly second-rate. The other singers in this competition are clearly better. As I said, Simon summed it up: horrible vocals, arrangement, delivery.

I thought that David Cook was the best of the night.
Luke will be going home. Danny should be going home but he will get the votes from
the vote for the worst crowd.
Even though David Archultea was not the best of the night I am sure he did receive the most votes. His fan base is unlike that of any other previous AI Contestant. IMO he will have to do better in the future if he expects to win this season's championship.

I'd have to give the performance of the night to David Cook. Really, really enjoyed what he did with the song and he's proving to be a real entertainer.

Runners up from last night would have to be Archuleta- who is still solid, even when he's off, and Jason Castro- mainly for picking such a great song (did not stick the landing, though). Vocally I thought Chickeze was solid- he's just abysmally "elevator music" when it comes to stylings and performance.

Noriega's performance was intriguing, but I admit disappointing. It seemed more like the band was doing more performing than he was, and his vocals have been very restrained since Hollywood week. To think I had he and Kady as being ones to watch coming out of that week, yet neither one has really hit stride since America has taken the vote.

From the guys- I'm saying Menard is basically a lock to go home, and those in potential danger are Chickeze and Noriega.
