David Hernandez worked as a bartender at a gay club!!! There goes the Christian vote! :eek:
I knew there was something odd about this season... our first sex scandal. What next David and Danny sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G???
The manager of a strip club called Dick's Cabaret in Phoenix. tells the AP that Hernandez performed fully nude and did lap dances for the mostly male clientele at Dick's -- and "made good money" to boot.

It looks like he quit his job when he found out he was going to be on American Idol. At least when he gets kicked off the show he will be more popular at his job.
David Hernandez worked for three years as a nude dancer at male strip club, the Associated Press reports. The club? Dick's Cabaret in Phoenix.
In fact, he appeared fully nude and performed lap dances for the club's "mostly male" clientele, club manager Gordy Bryan said:
"He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here," Bryan said. ...
According to Bryan, Hernandez steadily worked at the club for three years until September 30, 2007.
"He never renewed his licensing with the state, so he hasn't been on my roster since then," Bryan said.
Sure, he probably quit the gig to participate in American Idol, hoping to fast-track to a bigger spotlight where he can reveal his vocal chords instead of, um, his private bits.
Hernandez never brought up his stripping job on the show, but rumors of his past were posted on VotefortheWorst.com last week, including images of a barely clothed Hernandez working as a bartender at the gay club Burn.
According to MTV, the Phoenix New Times named the alcohol-free club, the "best gay male revue" in 2004; the cabaret's dancers "fit a flurry of fantasy roles, performing as sailors, construction workers, cowboys, and whatever else tickles their, uh, fancy."
