I would say those in danger are Jason Yeager, Chikeze, Luke Menard and (HOPEFULLY) Robbie!

Usually I agree with Simon with his comments about the contestants, but last evening I can honestly say that Simon had a "hate-on" for Jason Yeager! He was brutal to say the least. I was raised hearing the Doobie Brothers...my older siblings played them a lot! My husband loves the Doobie Brothers and last evening when Jason was singing, he came out of the back room to watch the kid give it his best. My husband was impressed! I was pleased. But when the judges slapped him down like they did, well I almost lost it! For Paula to say that the song only has so many notes (how petty)!! They were to select a song from the 70's for heaven's sake. And who better suited the 70's than the Doobie Brothers! Jason doesn't deserve to go this time!! But I do agree that Robbie Carrico and Micheal Johns do!! These men didn't appeal to me in anyway what-so-ever when they sang.
That song by the Doobies wasn't exactly a song with challenging vocals. And he didn't really change it enough to be focused on the vocals. It just wasn't a good song choice. Didn't fit his voice and it's not a performance that everyone is talking about the next day.

After hearing what you guys have to say I am guessing that Jason Yeagar will be going home. The key to the early rounds is doing something to get noticed. It doesn't matter if people hate you because they don't vote against you they vote for somebody else. Jason is just kind of indistinguishable. People will not notice him and he won't get the votes.

So far, this forum has been as forgettable as the 2008 Idol. Has anyone noticed how little enthusiasm there is in the forums? "Oh, he's good, he's ok, she has a nice voice." That's about it. This Idol has been so packed with predictable types that there just isn't any juice. Notice how the judges are hard pressed to pump up the volume--pathetic. And it isn't the era of the songs chosen. The 70's was a treasure trove of great pop music. Anyway, answering the question, I expect Yeager will go home. Don't know who the other will be. It should be Noriega, but he's "so cute". Also Castro or Carrico will be the other. I fear that Chikezie who is interesting (and the only black guy in the top 12) will be the other. I hope the women are more fun tonight. At least they'll be good to look at. Yes I do like the young kid. His Imagine was excellent and creative.

Chopper we are thinking a lot alike but David is REALLY good. I am talking potentially Phil Collins, Elton John, George Michael good. If this competition is judged on the best voice it is allready over and David is the winner.

The Women were great tonight. It is a shame any of them have to go home. I am guessing it will be Asia and maybe Alexandria or Kristy.

It kills me that the judges criticize these people for picking the wrong songs. These people weren't around for the 60's and the 70's, so how could they know which song would work for them? I love hearing the old tunes but it's not making the judges happy so what's the point?
it is really hard to predict who goes home...I feel sorry for them when they do go home, because they all worked so hard and got their hopes up...
There is one person who I think should go home but I would rather not mention that person's name right now.
As far as this forum being boring, well we haven't started fighting about who is the best yet... we probably will but last year Melinda had a lot of fans and Jordin had maybe three or four and they were really rude!!!!

LOL! :) :)
Well last night I think Kady Malloy and Amanda Overmeyer were the worst performances. So they could join Jason and Robbie..............

Well we know two of the dearly departed. Jason was obvious. Alexandrea was panned by the judges but many people thought she was one of the best. I think the judges carry too much weight with a lot of the voters.

Amanda and Asia were easily the two weakest performances of the ladies this week.

Yeah, this site is pretty boring without me, Sandy, and Kelly.

I had to agree with Simon's critique of Alaina. I said it before he did, while watching her performance, she was too pageantry. However the gal with the wild hair should have gone home before her. How do you guys keep track with all their names? I have to keep looking them up on-line to see who is who.

This forum has been pretty good this season. As Jim Carrey would say "I like it a lot!"

I have to look them up at times too....I have my favorites that I know without looking them up....Now I remember everyone from season 5 that was in the top 10 but season 6 most of them are forgetable...Melinda and Phil I will never forget same with jordin. Sanjaya and well forget the and I don't remember the name of the runner up hehehehe.......Jordin and Sanjaya I will never forget for different reasons than Melinda and Phil...
