Well, I don't know about the next 50 years, but one thing's for sure: this generation must REALLY BE SCREWED UP if they think the future of mankind is dependent upon who wins a silly television show talent contest.

I mean come on! American youth will be destroyed if Kellie or Taylor is the next American Idol????????

Trust me he can say it all night.LOL

I pray I will never look toward American Idol as a "role model" for my future children. If I do someone hit me in the head! (Cloie, you can be the one in charge of that, it might hurt so bad if you do it.)

you guys are making me bust up... how come I cannot hit anyone in the head?

Anyway.. I know a lot of young people look up to these idols.. Kellie might not be the best role model... but she's not the worse either.

Hey! ANYONE is better than Pickler! Want kids to think you can get by in life being "cute", not to bright, with no talent?

Sure, why not? They can't all grow up to be Bill Gates.

I mean seriously, people are saying Chris is a good role model. Look at him. He is into ALL rock, and he is a 26 year old with a 9 year old child....do the math...

Uhhh...I'm pretty sure that those aren't Chris's children Idollover.

His wife had kids were her ex-husband, and he has three step children.

I think that reflects good character.
