Chris in the bottom three with Taylor and Kellie in the top three? Either people are not listening or being the 1st slot (chris) is a total disadvantage.
I was shocked by tonight. This is the first time I was really dissapointed in the audience. Kellie deserved to be in the bottom three, as did Taylor. very sad now in my eyes................

I agree. Kellie was without a doubt the weakest of the whole lot in a week when the others shone brighter than her, even Ace.
If this voting trend continues, American Idol may have to be re-label American Fiasco.
Looks like it's fast becoming that way. Instead of applauding, people all over the country will just start laughing and switch to other channels. This results fallout is ludicrious.

Agree about Kellie - but Taylor didn't deserve to be in bottom 3 and that's why he wasn't. He's going all the way!

Pickler is nothing than a fake. She can not sing better than the rest. She acts stupid. Can someone really be that stupid and get this far. Something is really smells here, if she gets to the top three. i will never watch this show again.

If so, that will be your loss, Netag. Why are you so down on the show, just because you don't like Pickler? This is an American competition. and you know America likes the "whole package" - I think you're being kind of hard on Kellie. Its been clear to me all along that she would be in the top 6. and personally, I don't think of her as a liar or believe all the trash I hear.

sorry, but i'm with Blondie...i will never watch AI again if Kellie wins. It makes me so mad. i'll be okay if chris does not win cause he's going to move on to bigger and better things, but if kellie wins it, I will not be able to take it.

I have nothing against kellie or any others. If she wins, she wins. i just don't think given her performance the other night she should have escaped the bottom three. i think she is very smart coping to her " butchering the song' as she new it would get her sympathy. Kudos to her for working it. I just can't believe the Chris voters didnt support him enough. i think being one of the first to sing is a disadvantage.hopefully next week his supporters will realize the need to come out in mass.......

I hear ya. And, yes, it's a proven fact that singing first is a big disadvantage, unless you BLOW the freakin' roof OFF. I in no way can fathom how Kellie made the top three.... And how Chris made the bottom three. I don't entirely trust the voting thing anyway. AI isn't gonna let someone win if they are not sure if the person will bring in big $$$$$$. I think some of it is staged for ratings. Maybe Chris was in the bottom three because AI was trying to shock more people into watching next week. Same with Pickler... Maybe she was there to outrage people because she was in the top three. That would mean more viewers next week. I don't know, but whatever's going on, it needs to quit. I will stop watching. No Joke. :mad:

And thats what people vote for me included so the group of people that like Chris's style are probably not the ones that are more likely to be voting, on the other hand Taylors style is more the older married crowd style of music. With all that being said i was shocked Chris was in the bottom three. my top three has to be tayor, chris and Katherine with paris running neck to neck with katherine. we all know what opions are like :moon:

I am starting to think its rigged after last night! Not that I hate Pickler but she did do bad and she knew it. She should have been in the bottom 3. And not to mention putting Chris in the bottom 3! AMERICA ARE YOU CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

I think Chris's fans thought he'd be safe so they put a lot of votes in for Elliott simply because they couldn't stand to see Elliott go home before Ace. This should have shocked them enough that they'll be voting Chris again next week. Or it could simply be that AI has it all rigged for ratings....

I always thought AI has the votes rigged. I thought so last year with Carrie and Bo. It'll be rigged so that Katherine and Paris will make the final two with Katherine winning. Both are very marketable in their eyes. Chris only appeals to certain people. I can't see him winning because he's not really the type of person they want. They learned their lesson with Ruben. He won the thing, but then sold zilch. They want someone who is going to make them alot of money as well, and I can see Katherine as a big money maker for them.

He probably will, but I still don't think that's what AI wants to market. AI people want middle of the road type that appeals to everyone. Chris is on the cutting edge and I don't see him singing the type of songs they'll want him to sing.

Hmm... must have been a malfunction in my Tivo that made Ace sound so bad over the last few weeks.
Ace has been consistently the weakest performer for several weeks. Many were surprised that he was still here this week as his "WWRY" on Tuesday was not of the quality of the rest. He did a fair, though not outstanding, performance this week. Kellie was the absolute worst this week and by all rights should have been in the cellar. But I'm convinced she could just stand and stare at the camera during her time on stage and probably still not land in the bottom three. Taylor could have ended up there as his song started weak, but finished strong. Paris vocals were great and she shouldn't have been there.
I thought once the final three were determined, the outcome was pretty much a given.

I think he's got a big fanbase who thought he was safe enough and didn't vote. I'm not a fan of Chris, either (ALTHOUGH I LIKE HIM AND THINK HE SINGS REALLY WELL), but he's one of my (older) sister's favorite and SHE DIDN'T VOTE! My (younger) sister's favorite is Katharine and SHE DIDN'T VOTE. They're not OCD like me - LOL.
YEP - that's how I got my screenname!
Anyway, I, too, think the top 3 are Taylor, Katharine & Chris.

And Cinna, Jim Whats-his-name and ACE are probably more alike than you realize. I don't think Nabors even bothers to hide the fact that he's gay.
Also, his career is doing just about as well as you would expect ACE's to do. From Gomer's webpage this is his only concert this summer:

not really... i just figured instead of saying "no, i'm not jealous", i'd point out why i'm not. and after reading FalseIdol's thread on Ace and watching American Idol Extra last night, i must admit, i'm maybe just a little jealous that 1,000's of girls don't dub me a 'heart throb', just so i can break all their little hearts by 'coming out'. :11doh: (not really)
