IMO he didn't nail the song. Kind of fell flat.
It was terribly uninspiring. That song sounds more hot blooded coming out of a juke box than his performance. He didn't transmit the hot bloodedness to the audience at all. I can see the buzzards circling this one.........

This guy bugs me to no end! He is so contrived! He is practically begging people to think he is a hard rocker. Look, dude, just because you have long, shaggedy, unwashed hair, a bandana your mommy bought you and a wallet chain, that doesn't make you a rocker. You are sad, and not even a very good pop singer.

He didn't impress me at all....He should go back to singing bubble gum pop and get a haircut and shave while he is at it.....
Hate to say it, but I think Randy (DAWG!) nailed it when he said that rock is an attitude. And this guy doesn't have the attitude.
But that song is all about "you're making me so hot I'm ready to jump off the stage and carry you away RIGHT NOW!". But his performance almost sounded like "if you think I'm cute, e-mail me later and we can chat".
I worked with a garage band in HS, and the kid we had singing did a much more credible job than what Robbie did.
Yeah dude, get a haircut and go 'boy-band' style or you're a goner (if he isn't already).

He used to tour with Britney Spears and also dated her when he was a lot younger. So perhaps he's more "pop" than rock and he's fighting it lol.
