As for Chris, I doubt he is in any real trouble. Remember McPhee landed in the bottom three a couple of weeks ago too.

Next week will be key. He has to rock out and excite his fan base again.

I can not believe what I saw tonight. Not only was Chris and Ace and Paris in the bottom 3 but the 2 people that really blew their performances were SAFE?????? Can someone explain what the hell happenend??? I am so furious right now. I wanna smack Kellie, and all the idiots that vote for her looks. Cuz they sure as hell arent voting for her singing. She is the worst contestant left, yet people continue to vote for her. If they wanna see her pretty face, they should take a picture so the people that deserve to win can do it. Instead Ace gets voted off. Now I know hes done pretty bad in the past, but I thought he did a GREAT job last night

It is all about fan base, what you sing, and where you sing on the show. I won't argue that Chris is talented---he obviously is. But fans could be getting tired of him. He is probably safe, but may not be, especially with love songs being the theme again next week.

Plus, what is there that is really that interesting about Chris? Elliott has got the disability thing going, Kellie the coal miner's daughter routine, Taylor is a poster child for the national epilepsy foundation and so on.

What is special about Chris? That he used to work at a car dealership?

She's not the worst contestant left, that would be Gary Coleman. So get used to it Pickler will rule the Idol Universe soon enough.

If he didn't deserve it he wouldn't have been voted there.

If Simon all of a sudden thinks you gave a great performance after weeks of criticizing you, then your'e screwed. Just ask Bucky and Ace. Chris was in the bottom two and this was the week that Simon loved him.

It could be an anti-Simon thing. Or just the opposite, i.e. Simon said he did terrific so I won't worry about voting for that person, he's safe!

If she isnt the worst contestant left, then Im a guy! The only performance she pulled off right is the song she did for Queen Night. I think its pretty pathetic that shes only getting votes because of her looks. That just makes us American's look shallow.

She's not only getting votes because of her looks. Kellie has a good voice, and she's a good performer. She's not dumb, this is just an act, and it's working.
