um, actually it says the bottom three are chris, paris, and ace. It has Taylor, Elliott, and kellie as the top 3 with Katharine in 4th.

It depends if you are looking at "raw" numbers, or buzzy %, It also changes due to west coast votes.
My cordless phone battery was dead, didnt have time to sit in one spot and vote. No votes from me so I cant complain about the results.

This site has been right only a couple of times during the weeks when when four contestants per week were getting the boot.
They are just as likely to wrong as they are right.

I've never even heard of the website, but it's WRONG if it put Chris in the bottom 3 and Kellie in the top 3. That's just ridiculous! I'd like to know just how right they've been in the past few weeks.

I actually like the idea of the site. hmmmm.....
Now they're listing the bottom three as Chris, Paris, and Ace with Ace leaving. Can't say I'd believe that. They picked Ace to leave last week as well and he's still here.

They aren't actually "picking" anyone. They claim that through a propreitary system which measures the frequency of busy signals when people are voting they can determine who will get the boot.
But as I pointed out last night (not that anyone bothers to read this stuff) something like 19 contestants has been booted off this season and DialIdol has correctly identified maybe 6 or 7 of them---mostly in the early weeks when 4 people a week were getting the axe. They have been right only once in the last six weeks and the week Lisa Tucker got voted off (when there were still 10 contestants) they listed her as the 4th HIGHEST vote getter of the week.
Here are their final "scores" for this week:
1)Taylor Hicks 30.774
2) Elliott Yamin 30.29
3) Katharine McPhee 27.763
4) Kellie Pickler 27.188
5) Chris Daughtry 25.409
6) Paris Bennett 24.376
7 )Ace Young 20.5
If their methodology is any good, Ace doesn't stand a chance tonite.

And that would be okay with me. I voted for only 3 of the idols last night. And (DON'T LAUGH) but to help the time pass quicker, I sat with my pen and paper and tallied each 'busy' signal besides the votes (when I'd finally get through). This is how it went: I rotated dialing Taylor, Katharine and Elliott's #'s (in that order). After 5 votes, I'd dial the next one - so on. It took me to dial Taylor's # 186 times before getting his first 5 votes through. In total......
Taylor - dialed 442 times - got 17 votes in
Katharine - dialed 126 times - got 15 votes in
Elliott - dialed 102 times - got 15 votes in
I don't think Taylor will be in the bottom 3 - (Clap - Whoo-o-o-o-o-o-o!!!!)

The one thing I do know about this site, is they are able to hint at who will be in the bottom three, and yes sometimes they are wrong because they are just measuring busy signals. They have no way of guessing how many times people text, which personally I think there should be no text voting since everyone does not have Cingular wireless, or Verizon or whatever the heck it is. I think it should be all 866 voting, and that is it. It gives those contestants an unfair advantage if they have a high # of fans with cell phone that can text vote. Plus, I think it's kind of fishy how only the producers know the voting, they should outsource the voting to a non-bias third party because what if Dial Idol is right each week, but the producers think...hmmm let's send Kevin home instead of Bucky and we'll never know since we have no way of knowing how many votes were received. I think AI should say how many votes the bottom three get before saying who's eliminated. Like say, "Ace, you have 3 million, 4 hundred thousand, 3 hundred ninety-seven votes, I'm sorry but that is lower than Paris so you are leaving us tonight". Or I wish they wouldn't drag voting off over two nights. I like how other shows have everyone show up each week, prepared to sing their song, and the host says according to the votes, Taylor, America has voted and they want you to sing again tonight. Then he performs, and then the person who doesn't get called, goes home. I am kind of over watching two nights a week for 30 minutes of "Paris, you sang..... Ace you sang....Kellie you sang..." I don't need to know what they sang, I don't need to know what the judges thought cause I SAW IT ALREADY! Just tell me who's safe, who's not, and get on with it. It would be better if they showed a clip of what they sang, and show the judges comments after each person in a edited fashion, like cut out any non-performance related comments, and just say Paris, let's see what you did last night.... because if they are trying to help people who only watch the result show, knowing what they sang doesn't help them go...yeah they deserved to go home, or NO WAY. They shouldn't show that clip at the beginning showing what they sang the night before, they should show that before each contestant finds out if they're safe or not.
That's just my Opinion.

Yeah, you're right. Anyone who would spend two hours dialing the phone 670 times in order to cast 47 votes for three different contestants (and keep track of it to boot) probably has a full dance card every night of the week---not just on Tuesday's!!!

What?????????? You're not going to tell me? I've never heard that 'term' before. And I'm not 'acting'! Tell me and I'll admit truthfully if it applies to me. I promise.

The fact that your not willing to hide anything is what I am bothered by. At least turn off the webcam when there might be children present----who knows what kind of psychological scaring you might be causing???
The term "a full dance card" comes from the social clubs which were popular in the 30's and 40's. For 10 cents, a hostess would dance with you. She carried a "card" listing everyone who had a reservation. The hostesses in highest demand were the busiest and hence the term "full dance card".
