For some time now, I notice that in some exceptional circumstances, the first runner-up to the American Idol can actually be more popular than the winner himself.
Take for example, Clay Aiken. Some people believe he's actually more popular than Ruben Studdard. Let's say for the sake of argument that the final two are Taylor and Kellie, and Kellie wins but Taylor suddenly overshadows her in the popularity stakes.
Is that entirely possible? Or maybe Chris and Katharine go neck and neck down the wire. Katharine pips Chris to the tape but Chris gets a louder applause.
This is afterall the American Idol contest. Anything is possible and all bets are off at the eleventh hour. Who do you guys think?
:) :D :luxhello:
