Hometown Radio Commercial

I am from Kellie's home town of Albemarle and co-own an IT Solutions company there, Uwharrie Technology. Last year, we hired a local advertising outfit to create a radio ad for us. They used Kellie to do the vocals on the commercial and she really blew us away.

I've got news for all the doubters with nothing else to do but gripe about folks more successful than themselves; The talent is real and the personality is real! What you see IS what you get!

By the way... she's only 19! At what age did you learn what calamari or escargot were?

Probably 13-14 but I think it really depends of how you grow up. My daughter is six years old and she has been eating calamari for at least 1.5 years. She hasn't tried escargot yet... but I'm sure she will within the next couple of years.

I prefer mine dipped in the garlic butter sauce.

Thanks for your reply. I'm guessing that you're from LA, Chicago, NY, or some other large US city. I can assure you that no restaurant in Stanly County, North Carolina has ever served squid until it was brought up on Idol. And unless someone mentions "escargot" on TV, it will remain a mystery forever.
