What crazy things do they do to piss you off???

I have great neighbors. They're an older, retired couple, and I hardly ever see them. The people before them got on my nerves because they had these two big dogs that never shut up. They would bark constantly. I'm glad they moved.

I LOVE my neighbors in the CA homes. They're pretty laid-back and quiet. In IL I have this one "unusual" neighbor. I'll leave it at that. In DC, everyone is kind of nuts. I think they're on meds. :eek:

They're SO liberal. :eek: This one neighbor is a family who always has adult kids moving back home. They smoke and drink in their garage. This is not a trailer park. It's a $500k neighborhood. Their little rat-dogs bark constantly. And the woman has had so much plastic surgery she looks like Joan Rivers. :eek:
They do have really nice cars. Just too many of them. I think there are 5 in the driveway. :rolleyes:
I like to p!ss them off with Republican stuff. They had a meltdown when they saw my W bumper sticker. :D

I lived in that area for five years, most of it, in Alexandria, VA. It's a nice place to live if you're single, but not somewhere I'd want to raise a family. Too expensive, too much crime, too much traffic, and the people are rude as hell.

Back to neighbors for a sec: I remember on of my "neighbors" in grad school. She was kind of a druggie and dated the creepiest guys. I think she's dead now. :(

I love my neighbors! They are all really sweet, and we all do nice things for each other on the holidays. My favorite neighbors, Mike and Victoria, are no longer living on our street. Mike was killed tragically, and on the way to their son's wedding. Victoria moved back east. They were so wonderful, and sometimes the neighbors get together to just remember them.

Yeah, i have one sucky neighbor, right next door, but she is quiet, just kind of rude. There is a crazy loud family at the end of the block, but I don't usually hear them.

I have a lot of elderly women on the street but also a lot of younger children. The people down the road are having difficulties with all our neighbors. Spreading gossip and stuff

My neighbors are great most of the time......Occasionally there son like to steal Jonathon's back pack and hide it from him but all I do is call his mom and she takes matters into her own hands.....BTW my neighbors are my sister, my nephew and her better half...The other neighbors I never see living out here in the country and all......

We have some great neighbors!!!!! They are soooo friendly and kind for the most part.
The only issue is one family that we all call the 'snoops'. They are nice, just snoop into everyone's business. We live in a restricted neighborhood where houses have to be a certain size, made of certain materials, landscaped yards..etc. to keep property values up. This couple seems to make it their job to check out everyone....they are SNOOOOPSSS lolol.
We love it here, all the kids go from house to house playing, all the parents are good to each others children, great place for them to ride bikes.
Its really the main reason we moved here....great for children!

That's one of my pet peeves too. I love kids and all but I do NOT want to hear them screaming all hours of the day and nite. The neighbors of one of my vacation places let their kids and dogs go wild. It's VERY annoying. :(

I have awesome neighbors all around me. They are all very nice and respectful.
About 5 years ago we lived in a nice apartment building. The only problem was that the walls weren't sound proof. The upstairs people and the downstairs people would blast their music and it near drove me mad. I was able to talk sense, eventually, to the people upstairs but the woman downstairs threatened to sue me if I bothered her about her music. This woman's son was actually blasting the music from 7 AM off and on. So how I fixed her was that I grabbed my Pulp Fiction CD and I cranked her up. I turned the speakers to the floor and let er rip. It did the trick she didn't allow her son to blast his music anymore. Everytime I hear that Superman song I think of them. I like my neighbors especially the guy that lives on the corner he is always here to help me when my car won't start or I get stuck in the snow and he cuts dead trees and brings me the wood every year!

i have a great relationship luckily with just about everyone i run into in my building. sure some just like to keep to themselves but for the most part everyone is really friendly and helps each other out.
About 2 months before we moved in to our house our neighbor across the street lost his wife of 25 years to cancer. When we moved in he had become somewhat of a recluse. But we kept inviting him over and taking him dinner. Well, the MUCH better half made the food, we didn't want to hurt the guy. Now he's getting back into the real world again. He really thinks the world of my MUCH better half since she's been such a help. I do think I'll keep this little lady.......

Just after we moved from our house the man next door lost his wife to Breast Cancer. It was a shock to find her in the obituaries. He ended up selling the house because there were so many memories and he couldn't handle it.
Your wife sounds like a good woman X1T1 and you sound like a great husband too. I like how you compliment her. It's nice.

I am certain that X1's wife feels the same about him as he does about her....It's tough to find that kind of love perhaps I will be fortunate enough to find that again....

My brother lives in an apartment and has had no problems until this new gal moved in below him. When he gets off the couch and walks to the kitchen this gal has the broom out and she's thumping on the ceiling. He's not a big guy nor is his girlfriend so they aren't heavy on their feet. When they use the kitchen sink the woman thumps at them. One day my brother went nuts back and thumped hard on the floor. Then he found out the gal down below has had her 90 year old father living there and he's dying :( My brother said he's just got to suck this up while the old guy is downstairs. He feels the girl must a bit nuts with all of this. However, he said once the old guy dies and she freaks on him he'll then go off on her, which he feels is long over due.

The chicks that live on the West side of me are ok. The first time I saw one of them, I thought she was a guy. They are nice enough, no problems.
The couple on the East side are normally very nice. The husband is gone for so many months out of the year because he builds ships, or works on a ship, I forget. The wife is very nice, but is deathly afraid of dogs. So afraid that if she pulls into the driveway and we have our dog outside, she will stay in her car until we take him back in.
I said normally very nice because of one incident of him saying that he was going to shoot whoever's dog that was crapping in his yard. I think he was in a bad mood that day.
