btw 2 great interviews lately, have I put them here. I'll look later. But twice - people in the know have stated his Idol performance of the Memphis Medley was the BEST THEY'VE EVER SEEN OF ANY PERFORMANCE ANYWHERE.
Keep in mind BOTH these people were at the show (the judges, actually Mark and Kyle). As I've said so often - film, tv, youtube - FAB. performances - but
BUT
BUT LIVE, to BE there - add 50% again.
(And they obviously haven't been to any of his gigs. This is why we keep going and going and going to so many. WE get these fabulous LIVE performances all the time. Imagine being hit with performances that you say to yourself "never before!! This is amazing, awesome, stupendous..!!" - always.

(oh, and in these interviews - Guy laughs at how TV makes him appear big. He let out that he is a size 32 pants and Medium in T, shirts - and some come prepared for photo shoots with big stuff!!! His shoulders, and round face rather than long, give an altogether different and wrong aspect. btw that clip was right at the beginning of his album signing in Brisbane, you should have seen the crowd DURING the show!)
