Hi all! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
So I was checking out the newest audition preview for American Idol Season 7 (http://www.americanidol.com/videos/view/?vid=812) (just over two months away!) and it looks like there are some good looking faces trying out for Idol this year!
No Carries, Kats, or Haleys that I saw in the video, but it got me to thinking, if we think our favorite singers are good looking? My favorite singer is Carrie Underwood and I also tihnk she's the most flawless looking person on the planet, though that might be superficial.
Do we think that they're good looking? Or is their voice and personality that makes you think they are? :)

Yes all my favorite Idol contestants are hot chicks. Kelly, Carrie, Kat, and Jordin. They have to be able to sing, but they have to be hotties too. That's pretty much a prequisite.
I'm looking forward to next year's cast of characters.

I could go on and on but I think y'all get the idea it's about the music not looks if everyone had to have a pretty face in order to record music we sure would be lacking in some awesome music.....

My favorite singer is Sarah Mclachlan, and I don't think she is hyper attractive, but her voice and the depth of emotion in her lyrics makes her a goddess.
I also love the lead singer of Keane. His voice gives me chills, and although I don't find him physically attractive, His voice makes him REALLY sexy!

Well, she looks pretty hot to me. I highly doubt that the people calling her "moose" are thin, or are even toned.

A size 14 isn't average.................................IT IS ACTUALLY PRETTY BIG........................................unless you are pushing 6 feet tall.
She is bigger, but she looks great! She is a tall, lovely lady. Her height is what makes her! Voluptuousness is great, just wear it well!
If you are under 6 ft. and wear a size 14............look in to a diet!

Jordin is actually 5'11", so that's why she can pull it off.

I absolutely love keane's song 'somewhere we know,' ...by the way thr put the song on the thread music 'for the new millienium.'
I think that song is beautiful and one of the best songs ever!

It makes me ill :throwup: Did you Kelly sing at the Cowboy came last night she was so bad that my brother in law changed the channel and he enjoys rock music.....he wanted to :throwup: also....I think the big machine is getting wins for some os these girls based on there looks guys just don't listen with there ears anymore and I don't know what's wrong with the female population...Perhaps they are just tone deaf...:eek:

Yeah, WTF ever. That's why 'Tattoo' has been on the charts for several weeks, and is now at #10. The album is getting rave reviews all over. Hmmm, it sounds like you're in the minority on that one.

Helloooooo! Comparing Pickler and Kelly Clarkson, is like comparing apples and oranges.
Pickler is a country singer, they don't scream in country music. The women know their place, so they look sexy, and they sing nice, sweet songs, to make us guys feel good.
Kelly is a rock star, she's supposed to scream. "Since you've Been Gone", "Walk Away", "Never Again", "Hole" are meant to be screamed.

The average American woman is FAT!!! Americans as a culture are the fattest in world! That is a fact! The average American woman is 5'4" and a size 14. That is FAT!!! Put down the hamburger and step away from the french fries!
I think Jordin is gorgeous. She is tall and a bit larger, but she isn't overweight for her body type. I agree that many women do stupid things in order to keep their weight unhealthily low. However, more women in this country are really overweight!
