At least for the past week. Her new cd "Blackout," will finish at No. 1 this week, according to all the chartmakers.

"Blackout" sold between 325,000 and 350,000 copies depending on who you believe, but it's enough to put Spears ahead of
Carrie Underwood. :(

The Blackout numbers are way down compared to "In the Zone" which sold 609,000 copies in its first week. Downloading probably ate into her numbers.
Many radio stations aren't playing "Gimme More" either.

"Blackout" is the No. 1 downloaded album on iTunes and the fifth bestselling CD on Amazon.com. Spears could have a good second week as well, while she awaits the Nov. 13 release of Alicia Key's anticipated blockbuster, "As I Am." At that point, "Blackout" will likely be over unless Spears releases a new single.

I wonder how many fans are tired of her bs antics and just decided not to be a fan anymore? I know I used to like her a lot but all her ridiculous drama has turned me off. :rolleyes:

I think at first she got a lot of fans because she was this sweet, cute, innocent Christian girl. Ya know, the whole girly thing. Then she got sexy. That's when I turned off of her. When she got skanky, married, divorced, married again, divorced and then this whole thing with her kids, kfed, drunken, drugs, etc she lost many fans.:(

I doubt anyone has ever heard her sing without "help".:rolleyes:

If you examine the relationship that Brit has had with her mother, it becomes easily apparent as to why she is void in her relationship and parenting skills. Her Mom obviously has used her for financial gain and media exposure.

All you need to know about someones life experience's background is how that individual publicly speaks.

Unfortunately Brit shows all the traits of a "White Trash Trailer park Inhabitant."

I have heard some of the album. I am underimpressed. It is getting such rave reviews too. I don't get it.

I don't get it either...I have never been a fan of Brit's she really needs some parenting skills....

I liked Carrie from the moment I saw her on AI. I think her voice is nothing short of beautiful!

But I have heard several times, on different radio stations that she seems to have more of an 'attitude' than you would think.

Anyone else heard this?
