When guests start bagging Network shows and don't show to perform you have to assume that this show has "Jumped The Shark". How much more could Fox be disrespected? And the show itself on Wednesday, was a train wreck. How uncomfortable was it to watch Elliott and Ryan interacting when Ryan was told to sing and Elliott had no idea what to sing. Finally that troll Seacrest just told him "To follow the Band". Seacrest can be such a tool douchebag at times. So I'm guessing that major changes will have to occur for next season or else A.I. will fade into obscurity.

Yeah, I thought it was messed up that they had to watch these sappy-we-love-you-OhGOD-I'm-gonna-cry home videos and then they're forced to sing. I felt so sorry for Elliott. He was very visually touched by the video, tears streaming down his face, and Seacrest handed him the mic and said "Here, buddy, sing a song." Sing what? "Follow the band!" I know from personal experience from singing at a funeral that it is dang-near impossible to sing and cry at the same time. I truly felt sorry for the guy. Really sorry. Maybe AI was going for Shock Value, and they surely pulled it off, at the expense of Elliott's emotions. They could have at least pulled Ace out first, since he was totally fine, except for those obvious crocodile tears. :pi_cry:
