Not my Bucky!! I totally bawled when he got voted off. I guess my new votes will be for Taylor and Elliot. That really sucks that Bucky got voted off. I totally wasted my time voting over 30 times for him. There were quite a few times that the line was busy when I was placing all these votes so I just assumed he would be safe for another week. Man, I hope that guy comes out with a CD. I will be buying it! Best of luck, Bucky.

I thought Bucky performed rather well this week. It's a shame he was voted out. But if we know him well, he will survive and thrive henceforth.

Let's see, we've seen Bucky for what---something like 4 minutes a week for 10 weeks, and most of that was singing. The rest was listening to him give one or two word answers to Ryan Seacrest's always insightful questions such as, "Do you think Simon is a turd?" A total of maybe 40 minutes of superficial exposure in all.

How could we NOT know him well after that?

This is actually a good point, whether intended or not. How much exposure has Bucky had compared to the other Idols. I don't remember seeing any of him pre-top 24....

Votes keep going this way, Elliott and Ace are the next two to leave. All of the others have had much more exposure, beginning with the auditions.

I was sad to see Bucky go .. just when I was starting to enjoy his personality. He does have a unique voice and when he enunciates, he's fun to listen to. He'll be fine. His hometown will be throwing one big party for his homecoming!

Much as he (surprisingly) had fans, the guy's been deserving to be voted off the past few weeks. Although he did not have the worst performance, vocally speaking (that woule be Ace), he had it coming for some time now.

Here's the real litmus test for the remaining contestants... Ace is all looks, so I'm guessing he'll either be voted off next week or the week after next. Katharine, Chris and either Taylor or Elliot will make it to the Top 3 (or maybe Paris).

I was sad to see Bucky go, because, although he should have gone before, say, Mandisa, he clearly outsang Ace. Oh Ace, it was SOOOOOOOOO bad, and you bug SOOOOOOOOO badly! I am also sorry that he left before Kellie. I am so very tired of the Pickle, and even though she did a decent job this week, she ruined it with her hankie routine. GAWD, she bugs. As for Paris, my other least favorite (am I allowed 3?), she just so isn't my idea of American Idol that I constantly forget about her even being in the competition.
