Have you ever been used by a friend? I had a friend who was male we where very close and I thought we where best friends. I find out he only used me so I wouldnt tell his ex wife that we had had a relationship years ago. Since she has found out he hasnt contacted me at all:( I feel like he only stayed friends so I wouldn't let his wife know. There where other things I knew about him to and he didnt want his ex to know about them either.

What would be his reason for doing that? maybe her wife got jealous with you? do you know his wife personally? why would he bother that her x wife would know about you? if you know each other? and if you both are not doing anything? or do you still have a more than friends relationship even if he is already with someone?

I bet you feel really upset and hurt, its not a nice thing to happen. I have had a friend do th edirty on my with a girlfriend of mind, it totally gutted me and our friendship went down the pan!

To answer your questions when he was trying to make sure I didn't tell his ex wife they where still together. For ten years they stayed together and now I have found out that he only stayed really close with me so I wouldn't tell her and destroy their marriage. He then two years ago played up on her with a one night stand but he picked the wrong girl to play up with she made sure his wife found out and kept causing problems for them. They are now divorced. And he is with the one night stand. Since this he has not contacted me as in our last conversation he said that it didn't matter if his ex found out now as she was gone. It's pretty confusing.

Thanks I have finally come to that conclussion as well after all this time. I feel so stupid and embarrassed for believing him:(

Oh i see? he is not a worthed guy. there are tons of better people to know and be with actually. He is just a crap, and i see he just plays everything both you and those other girls.

I am sorry this happened to you. I feel for anyone who does things such as this. It is too bad that his wife is the jelious type and it is clear she is or else he would not want it hidden. Maybe he did not want her to know because he might have others things going on with you then he wants her to know. Now that she knows, she might have told him that she does not want you as a friend.
