When have you experienced your first love?

I am in love with a girl at the age of 19. At that time she is sweet 16. We both study in the same school. We used to come home together as she lives next to my lane.

Have met my first love on our neighbor when i was still studying and at first i never did really noticed here but as time goes on i fall in loved with here and until today we are still with each other happily for about 5 years now.

I think that more people are in love with the idea of being in love than are really in love with someone. I would have to say that I have yet to experience what I call total real love. There have been people I have cared about.

Maybe you just haven't find it yet. It is very good to be loved and to love someone with everything you have. And that means you trust them and they trust you to. There is no better feeling in the world when you know someone and feel someone that she or he loves you also.

When I met my husband it was Love at first sight.....I knew I really cared about him however we didn't start to date until 4 months later...we were co-workers so we had plenty of time to get to know each other....we were married 5 months after we started to date and had a very happy marriage.....He was everything I was looking for and more.....It's there and you will know it when you have found it.....The thing was I had sworn off men I was tired of all the games and then we met..

My first love pang hit in grade 9. I was absolutely gagga over a guy named Keith. He was in grade 10.

maybe he looks so handsome thats why! hey sometime when you are younger looks is the basis but as you get to be more matured sometimes it doesn't matter anymore. But it matters to me!

Keith was handsome. I dated him for 3 months and then we split up after a spat. I was crushed. My girlfriend would laugh it up when he landed himself a new girlfriend. I was sitting in my math class and I held up his school picture and I said I was going to tear it up now that he had a new girlfriend. My friend came running over and tore it out of my hands and tore it up herself, the cow. She didn't think I was serious so she tore it up herself. She took the pleasure away from me. Then Carma set in. Keith's girlfriend broke up with him and went out with my friend's big crush and she went out with him for years and years LOL! I had a thing for Keith for a few years after that but then he got into the partying scene and he looked a little haggard with the hippy look. Not so cute anymore. Funny, he popped into my head for a fleeting moment last night and here I'm talking about him today? The Celestine Prophecy book says when that happens you are likely to run into that person? Perhaps I wouldn't recognize him if I did. I haven't seen him since I was 18.

You'll know it when you have it....I didn't know what love was until I met my husband of course I thought I did but this was different!!!

Love has many definitions, but it never been really specifically defined? it has different meaning to each individual and if you are in loved then you have you own description to it. But for me it is a matter of choice and commitment, because when you love someone then you are committed with him no matter what happens, well that is just me, i know it differs to you.

My very first love was when i was around 14. His name was Mark and he lived down the street from us. I would look out my window and when I saw him come outside I would run out and find something to do so that he would come over. :p

It, however, can be fatal to make the person you fall in love with 'your life'.
Building a life 'together' is wonderful, but just be careful not to give your life away in the process.

Very true Sissy you never know when your life partner will be taken from you!!!! If he is your life and something happens such as God forbid death then what are you to do?
