It is my opinion that about this time last year Bo Bice came out of the woodwork and became a contender. I couldn't tell you anything about him before that. One of the first things I remember is Simon saying to Constantine....Bo is a better singer but you have the likability factor. Then when knowone was watching........WOW did he blow me away. If he could do it and make it to #2, who do you think could do it this year? We all pretty much agree who all's in the spotlight, But who do we need to watch out for?

Excellent topic!
I like to think that the Idol contestants are in various states of waxing, peaking, and waning, and, if done at the right time in the competition, can prove dangerous for the other contestants.
Right now the one contestant who has the most potential to surprise us all and knock us off our feet is Elliot. It seems to me that this kid is coming out of his shell of late and starting to get his vocals into high gear. If he puts together a brilliant performance this week, I wouldn't be surprised if he picks up steam going into the weeks to come.

I think we may have more front-runners than usual this year,
Taylor, Chris, Katharine and a slight lag with Kellie.
I would love to see Elliott and Ace "pull a Bo Bice"!!!!!!!!
We will wait and see... is it Tuesday Yet?

What if BUCKY jumps up! You never know but like I just posted this better be Chris's week! If he doesn't stand out with this, then he might start falling a few notches.

I was wondering if anyone was going to say that. That's my pick. Buckie has shown improvement and his fan base seems to be getting larger. It will be exciting to see how long he will stick around.

I think that Elliot can do it... if he manage to work a better stage performance.
As well as Taylor if he retake the great vocal performances of his presentations at the beginning of this competition.
But I still believe that this year the front-runners are Chris, Paris and Kat.

I know girl, now it IS Tuesday and the question is 'Is it 7 (central) yet?' Elliott just might pull a Bo Bice this year.
I think Bucky is gaining some steam and showing some improvement. He's starting to relate to the audience the way Taylor did about the time he did the "Takin' It To the Streets" performance. And he has a good pick (for him) for the Queen show. I could see him making a breakthrough and possibly taking some support from Pickles and a small bit from Taylor (if Taylor doesn't recapture the earlier magic). Bucky is the overachiever of the lot so far and he has the opportunity (if he does his tune well tonight) to surprise.
If they do a "Sinatra" theme, I could see Elliott, Kat, and Taylor stealing that show and putting Pickles, Chris, and the rest in the back seat.

Then you'll know that the end of time is near. Bucky seems like a nice enough guy, but his voice is not in the same league with the others (okay maybe Ace). I am curious to see Paris perform tonight.
