yamit what is is story? fill me in!

i read somewhere that he has a sad story anyone know what that is ? i like his voice,and i really thinck the way he is dresses in the ford videos helps him stand out better. i wonder if he talked more about himself ,or made more comments to the judges or yelled at the audiance i wonder how that would affect him he has a good voice. Taylors my fav ,and i can read lots about other idols just never hear that much about yamit. what is story? :cool:

Are you talking about Elliot Yamin? I thought they said he was deaf in one ear or something like that. You never hear about it because they've only talked about these people one time. These the type of stuff we should know about the contestants, not the dumb stuff that Kellie says or the dumb stuff Ryan will talk about with her.

Yea, it was mentioned during one of the early shows that he is deaf in one ear. That's what's so amazing about him. He can really sing and to be able to do that being deaf in one ear is AMAZING. Now, I'm not saying he is my favorite or that I think he will win, but I give him a lot of credit. And it won't be brought up (every week) that he is deaf. That's all I've heard about him and it's not anything bad.

elliot was awsome last night ,i liked the dj thing,that was really good,and wow he learned that queen song in a week they said it was a tough song. he did really well. i liked that they talked about him a bit to.He was dressed nice to ,and i noticed he has really nice eyes.he seems shy someone said the would like to see him break out ,of his shell so would i. I was also happy to see they all showed us how they got here last night really enjoyed the show.

Additionally- he has severe diabetes, for which he has to wear an insulin patch to combat.

Of course all the hype is about Kellie and her sob story, and Elliot has made mention of these things, but he doesn't even highlight any of it, the guy just goes out there and kills us with his vocals. I want to buy my Elliot Yamin CD today!

Elliot story is very sad,and he is an amazing singer thanks for filling me in. ya kelly has control over what she does with her story. Elliot oviously does not ,and it would not suprise me to learn that there is probley alot of mental pain that goes with that physical pain. he seems to always get blended in somehow, wonder how he could stand out more. i liked the way kelly was dressed last night,but i Thinck Elliot has better vocals.
