Kelly Clarkson suffered from bulimia for six months, while in high school, after losing a part in a musical, to a skinnier, but much less talented singer. With a little help from her friends, she sought help to overcome it. Since beating the eating disorder, Kelly vowed to be more positive about her body and promote healthy eating to her fans.

Personally, I think she looks great.

i thought that was really brave of her to come out and talk about it...
its sometimes hard to talk about it...cuz its a sensitive subject, but shes a strong woman.
And thats what it takes to be a role model. And shes definetely a role model that young girls look up to.
