Personally, I don't care whether 12 year-old Suzy Creamcheese is going buy his CD or go to his concert. I'm 38 years old, and I already know what I like. I don't care whether he can sing mainstream like Michael Bolton. That's not the Taylor Hicks that I want to hear. I want to hear the funky white boy who sings 60's and 70's blue eyed soul, and gets wild on stage. I don't care whether he sells 5 million CD's or 500. I'm buying one. It's like you're trying to convince Taylor fans that they shouldn't like him because you don't think he'll sell enough CD's. When you vote for a certain performer, you don't base your votes on how many CD's you think they'll sell. I voted for Taylor because that's who I liked, not because I was worried about whether some 20 year old college student would buy his stuff. What do I care? I'm going to buy his stuff. It's not like Katherine isn't going to get anything out of this deal, so I don't know what the big deal is.

He is under a contract and has to release whatever the powers that be deem good music just wait and see what he does after his contract is over and done with...In the mean time I enjoy listening to some of his music with LiMBO..

And, I still feel the same way. If you like someone's music, then you shouldn't let anyone else's opinions dictate whether you buy it or not. For example, if you want to go out and buy Robin Thicke's CD, more power to you, but I'm not buying it, because I think he sucks.

I bought Taylor's CD, and didn't like it at all. I loved all his performances last year on AI (Except for "Country Roads", I thought that totally sucked ass) So, when I bought it, I had hoped that it would be as good as his live performances, but was sadly mistaken.

If I don't like Jordin's upcoming CD, then I'll be the first to admit it, and if I like Melinda's CD, I also be the first to give it praises. That's just how I am. I don't get so personal about these people to the point where I can't judge their music objectively.
