kathryn has the total package. besides her great voice, she has the personality, the looks [gorgeous-- especially her smile that lights up the world!] and she commands the stage when she is on it. And she seems
modest and unassuming, almost surprised by the applause that she receives.

i suspect she will make it to the final 2 at least, probably with taylor hicks as her final competition.

should be a lot more excitement ahead!

She has the looks, but she doesn't command the stage. I don't get how she commands the stage when she hardly does anything on stage. Commanding the stage means to me you take control of the stage and you shut the competition down when she sings, but she doesn't. Look at season 3, Fantasia and Diana could both sing, but Fantasia one because she was the star and really was in your face when she performed. Let's say Katharine and Paris are the final two people. Paris is going to win because Paris actually performs a song rather than just stand there and gives you a show. Katharine is lacking in star quality and presence.

I disagree bigd13. I think Katharine continues to improve each week, and last night she had a very good stage presence. If you taped the show, review it and you will see that she seems to really enjoy being up there singing. She looked comfortable and she brought the audience in.

I love Katherine.

She charms you from the start, and compared to the other contestants...well....let's just say there's NO comparing.

I hope she goes far...and I know the Katherine fans out there see the star appeal in her just as clear as I do.
