Is Idol "PLAYED" out?

Tonight was a train-wreck. Nobody stood out. It's starting to look as though the Show may be played out. It seems that this year no matter who wins, we all lose. the only singer that even remotely stood out was Chris. He at least showed that he can actually sing a ballad normally. Anyway, I think that all that this years show really shows is that Kelly Clarkson is the "OG" of Idol. I think I'll go download some of her songs and listen to a real star,

The show is played out. None of these contestants would have a shot against past contestants.

I'm glad you made this post because they just picked anybody to be on this season. I honestly think they wanted to pick the most different group ever not the most talented. I wish the judges would tell the truth and say this is the worst group ever and they made a mistake picking half of these people.
Half of the cast of season 3 was better than this entire season. I really don't see why half of the people on this board are so into Katharine, sure she can sing, but she can't sing out. She has no star power, Katharine sings alright, but is there anything special about her when she sings, hell no. The only people who I can see being stars are Chris, Mandisa, Paris and Elliot and anybody from these four people should win bottom line.

I totally agree with all yall! lol THANK U FOR POSTING THIS! I'm seriously starting to think that its played out, especially after tonight. I think Chris, Elliot and Mandisa were the only good people form this season. I still can't believe Mandisa is gone. :( That was the biggest mistake of Idol this season because I really think she should have won it, I don't think any of the rest of them even come close to her talent. It sucks, but I do think she will be successful. I just hope she gets a deal soon, I can't wait for a cd even if it is just gospel! lol Chris and Elliot can sing too, I like both of them as well as for the rest, I don't think they are good at all. This season is nothing compared to last, I mean, last year they had so many talented people. Carrie, Bo, Constantine, Vonzell, Nadia, Anthony, Anwar, Nikko, I mean you could keep going they had one after another and this year is nothing like that. I really liked Lisa too, I was disappointed when she left, Kevin as well, I thought they both were really good especially for their ages! The way things are going I don't know how much longer I am going to watch. I mean, I love Paula and seeing what the judges have to say, but if Chris and Elliot go home, which they probably will, I have a feeling, then I don't think I will be watching anymore. That really sucks to even say too, because I really love this show, but more and more something just seems really fishy to me the way things are going.
