Its like she wants to be nice and crowd pleasing so much that it taste like cotton candy sometimes.
translation: lots of nice words but usually lacks real and useful critique.

Everyone has their own way of thinking and expressing themselves. American Idol judges are no exception.
Simon likes to say his opinion, whatever it may be. Paula wants to be more careful with the feelings of those who she critiques. Randy likes to take the midddle ground.
Would it be better if there were three Simons at the judges' table???
My point is simply that it is the combinaton of the three judges that contributes to the success of the show.

When Paula doesn't like something, she lets them know in her own way. She's very sweet and diplomatic about it.

Paula is sweet. I think she sincerely doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings.
Although I respect that, she does need to be more open with her thoughts.
