I think that Taylor Hicks and Blake Lewis are very similar.
They're both finalists on AI. Neither of them has an amazing voice. They are very entertaining and interesitng whihc is what holds the audience's attention. They're unique. They're both up against girls who clearly have superior voices.
Can Blake do what Taylor did last year even after Simon told him no?
I sure hope so. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Taylor rawks!! He deserved to win. Yes, Blake isnt as good a singer as Jordin, but he has a good voice and i'd rather see him win. Singing isn't the only thing that makes this competition, other wise Melinda would still be there.

Taylor did more to entertain us on AI5 than Blake has ever done. Vocally, Taylor is way more talented than Blake. Blake does the electric slide or something similar, while Taylor really dances, especially when he's feeling the music. I agree that they're both up against girls who have stronger voices. Who knows, maybe Blake will surprise America.

Hey stop bashing up that kid. You really are something in the states (I live in Canada), most of you didn't think that Fantasia, Ruben nor Taylor deserved to win... and now you blast Blake, let it go guys ! That kid didn't do nothing wrong. You're too harsh on him. It's not like Jordin is better, she's so BORING! The only songs she could sing were "Broken wing" and "I who have nothing", other than that she really sucked. Blake is so much more entertaining. Nowadays you don't have to be great singers to win over popularity- example The *****cat dolls or Brittany Spears-, Entertainment is the issue. While Melinda will still rock and have older public fans loving her for a long time, Blake will still rock with the teens and those young at heart. So stop bashing up Blake, wednesday will tell who is wrong.

i dont see any similarities between taylor and blake. Taylor is very unique and he doesnt remind me of blake not one little bit
