Idol Bookies Predicting A Jordin/Blake Finale [Archive]

Definately! That is what I am predicting. Jordin will be the winner and Blake make it to the finale still making his big break earning a recording contract.

I doubt Blake will make it to the final 2.....with that being said he will still get a recording contract...:)

Blake will record under contract regardless. So will Jordin and Melinda. I've heard that Lakisha has some leads to record as well. I think the top 5 will do okay.

thats what i predicted a while ago. That's the way it should be. Jordin and Melinda would be so boring and i dun want a Blake and Melinda final cuz Melinda is so annoying, she pisses me off so much.

It would make lousy TV if Blake and Jordin were the final two. Everyone would know that Jordin is more popular than Blake so where would the mystery be??? Idol would rather have you on the edge of your seats with a Melinda and Jordin finale. So this Jordin and Blake thing is complete rubbish!

i think what is actually going to happen is that one half of the votes go to melinda and blake and jordan split the remaining votes and then only one gets to stay and then next week melinda sweeps in and wins!!! ha ha ha

OK, I almost swallowed my gum there! Rudy, what a memory! I had totally forgotten about that guy. You know who I loved was that Filipino guy, AJ I think was his name. He was really good, but conservative America couldn't handle him, if you catch my drift. And Paul, the barefoot guy! Dang, I wish I could go back and rewatch, but my DVR only has so much memory. Rudy, HAHAHA!

You know who I miss, (pauses, looks around to make sure no one is listening) Sanjaya. I cannot wait until the finale when that cat struts across the stage again.

On the subject at hand, I think any one of them could get the boot. Blake should go, although I love him. I want Jordin to win it. I get this weird feeling Melinda goes tonight. I don't know why, but it would make for some crazy TV.

That's funny you mention it because I have that funny feeling as well. I'm for Jordin but I also can appreciate Melinda's mad skills. I'd hate to see Melinda place 3rd. I always saw her as either #1 or #2 but I have a bad feeling that she may go tonight regardless of how well she performs. If Blake has another Bon Jovi night, Melinda may be saying goodbye. As for Jordin, it almost seems like she can do no wrong as if AI6 was hers to win from the beginning. If you followed Jordin from the beginning, she seems like the premeditated AI winner. American Juniors contestant, Americas Most Talented Kids winner, Arizona Idol Winner, then sponsored by Ford and Fox 10 to go to AI6 auditions in Seatle. Dont get me wrong, I think she SHOULD win regardless but it seems a bit pre-meditated.

I agree that the AI title can only hurt Melinda career because she would be better off independant of AI because she doesn't need anyone to tell her what to sing and the same goes for Blake. Jordin can only win from the situation. She's all about that whole contest winner thing anyway. Let's face it, she's a kid that would really dig all that stuff contest winner stuff and it can only help her.

This is what I have been saying from the beginning. It is weird, but Blake and Melinda fans don't realize that they are hurting their favorites by voting for them. I even read in an article that Blake's friends don't want him to win. They get it. I wish everyone else would.

Melinda is too talented to win Idol. I know this sounds like a contradiction, but it isn't. Idol hinders its winners! They promote them as pop stars, but honestly, none of them have been what I would call "pop" except for Kelly. Even she really got going when she was free of her Idol contract. Carrie was country, Rueben was jazzy, Fantasia was, and currently is, musical theatre, and Taylor was soul. The song that becomes the winner's first single ALWAYS SUCKS! I am sorry, but winning this contest would not be good for Melinda. She has benefited from the exposure, but she needs to go now, or she is screwed. She needs to pull a Daughtry!

A good example of this is Doughtry. Getting booted when he did was the best thing that could have happened. Can you imagine Chris Doughtry up on stage singing some sentimental winner song? Jordin would be the PERFECT AI poster child and will probably LOVE every minute of it. People like Doughtry and Chris Sligh would :throwup: in the middle of some cheasy song. Melinda would definitely be held back if she won AI. She's too mature and established to be an AI winner. She would would, no doubt, be able to pull it off but she'd be dying to get back to her own style.
