Also, to see yours, click on the scales of justice icon to the right of the posting you made (above the little green box). To add to or decrease someone's reputation, click on THEIR scales icon (feel free to add to mine. :) ). Hope this helps.

Reputation is a very neat way of tracking a poster's rapport with the other members.
If you like what AbsentElement says and approve of his contributions to the site- give him reputation.
I think he clearly deserves it.
